Fall Colors in Music

Join Scott Hagen, conductor of the Utah Wind Symphony and Sterling Poulson, conductor of the Choral Arts Society of Utah for an evening of fabulous music that will uplift your heart and soul.

The Choral Arts Society of Utah is joining forces with the Utah Wind Symphony for two nights of choral and wind symphony music that will fill your soul. The program features a variety of African American Spirituals such as “All My Trials,” “Carry Me Home,” and “Dry Your Tears, Afrika,” written by John Williams from the movie Amistad. Also featured, is a 21st Century piece highlighting the simple, pastoral melodies and subsequent harmonies of Eric Whitacre’s “October.”
