Catch an award-winning film from the 2019 Sundance Film Festival! Chiwetel Ejiofor’s drama is based on the astonishing true story of young William Kamkwamba, who used education and engineering to save his village in rural Malawi from starvation.

Against all the odds, a 13-year-old boy in Malawi invents an unconventional way to save his family and village from famine. The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind is based on the true story of William Kamkwamba.
