Zeke Sokoloff is a 13 year-old conservatory student at The Gifted Music School in Salt Lake City. Currently, he studies with Eugene Watanabe on violin and Dr. Vera Watanabe on piano.
This academic year Zeke had the honor of receiving the Starling scholarship for violin performance, a solo performance with the Utah Symphony, and a first place prize in the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) junior strings competition.

Octavia Gordon is a happy 11 year-old girl who happens to be the 8th child in her family – interestingly born on 8/8/08 – hence her name \”Octavia\”. She is currently in the 5th grade at Carden Memorial School in Salt Lake City. Octavia began violin at age 3 and trained for eight years with Ms. Deborah Moench. She currently studies with Dr. Eugene Watanabe.
In 2019, Octavia performed in China as a member of Vivace, an advanced violin performing group at The Gifted Music School.
Octavia also enjoys dance, tumbling, swimming, trampoline, riding her bike, sewing, cooking, being with friends, and loves playing with her three young nephews, ages 4, 2, and 1.
