Weber State University Department of Music will present Gilbert and Sullivan’s comic opera H.M.S. Pinafore. The story takes place aboard the H.M.S. Pinafore where love between social classes, patriotism, party politics and the Royal Navy are humorously lampooned through adventures on the high seas.

DAVID HABBEN

Graphic Designer; UDAM Teaching Artist | David received his BFA in Illustration from Brigham Young University in 2006. In 2008, he became one of the first illustrators to become a Children’s Book Design Fellow at Chronicle Books in San Francisco. For the next eight years, David continued to work as an illustrator and designer, both in-house and freelance. Then, In 2017, he earned his MFA in Studio Art, with a Graphic Design emphasis, from The University of Utah.
