Healing Through Art Refugee Arts Show, Music and Dance.

You are invited to this free event. Holladay Arts will be exhibiting the artwork produced through months of workshops with Utah’s refugee communities which expresses their stories, their hopes and their dreams through art.

The Holladay Arts Council is conducting a project called Healing Through Art, in partnership with the Utah Department of Workforce Services Refugee Services Team and the Chase Home Museum of Utah Folk Art. Through a series of workshops, we are giving refugees living in Utah a chance to tell their stories through art. Additionally, we have a team of three therapists who interview each participant to hear and record their stories, thereby giving context to the images.
