Celebrating the 150th Anniversary of the completion of the Transcontinental Railroad,
Ogden’s dynamic and vibrant community will be in the spotlight. This celebration is an opportunity to share our past, our present and our future.

The Heritage Festival is an annual celebration, but this event will be a special anniversary edition. The Big Boy 4014 and 844 steam trains will be on full display at Union Station. The Station will be full of exhibits celebrating the influence of the trains and

  1. We are planning our full vacation to chase the train from Cheyenne to you in Ogden. What events will give us the best views of the engines, themselves? We loved seeing the collection outside, but th makes drum was closed. When would be the best time to go to the inside portion? The other activities are icing on the cake. Any assistance is greatly appreciated. We’d LOVE to have specific dates

Graphic Designer; UDAM Teaching Artist | David received his BFA in Illustration from Brigham Young University in 2006. In 2008, he became one of the first illustrators to become a Children’s Book Design Fellow at Chronicle Books in San Francisco. For the next eight years, David continued to work as an illustrator and designer, both in-house and freelance. Then, In 2017, he earned his MFA in Studio Art, with a Graphic Design emphasis, from The University of Utah.
