High Valley Arts Solstice Writer's Retreat

High Valley Arts is offering another incredible opportunity to attend classes to develop your writing skills. Classes will be given by several well known writers. Attend presentations by Dean Hughes (Historical Fiction), Obert Skye (Fantasy), Ann Cannon (Blogging and Columns), Chris Crowe (Writing for Young Adults), Louise Plummer (Memoirs), and, offered for the first time, Tyler Casleton (Song Writing) and a Children's Writing Class.

ADMISSION INFO

Early bird registration price is $249 until February 28th. After that the price will be $265. Price includes classes, panel discussions, two lunches, one dinner and an informal reception with faculty and students.

Thursday, check in from 1:30 to 2 p.m., Orientation – 2 p.m., first workshop from 3 – 5:00 p.m. Thursday dinner is included, followed by first panel discussion, and informal reception with faculty. Friday, classes from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with lunch provided. Dinner on your own. Saturday, classes start at 9 a.m. with lunch provided; 2 – 3:30 p.m., Keynote Speaker/Performer, Hilary Weeks; wrap-up at 3:30 p.m. Saturday: First time offered, Tyler Castleton on "Songwriting", 3:45 to 5:45 p.m.; and a special "Children's Writing Class" 3:45 to 5:30 pm.
