Ages 15+

COURSE OVERVIEW: 

The class will consist of a step-by-step development of one painting by each student while following Ian’s lead for two days. We will learn watercolor landscape techniques for a realistic portrayal of sky, water, landscape, buildings and boats. The class is relaxed and very informal. A drawing for all to work from will be supplied via email well before the class date.

UDAM Teaching Artist; Visual Artist | Trish Clay has worked for forty years teaching and counseling at all levels from elementary to college, including Job Corps and prison programs. She has been awarded many awards for her teaching, including two Fulbright scholarships to Japan and the Beverly Sorenson Award for Secondary Art Teacher of the Year. She has taught in China and Vietnam and traveled throughout the world, gathering ideas for her teaching. She loves to teach and interact with students of all ages, and continues to work with Girl Scouts, private individuals and the prison half way house for women.
