Intermountain Hoop Dance Festival with N8tivehoop

On June 17, join champion hoop dancer Terry Goedel and N8ive Hoop for a celebration of indigenous culture through the art of dance! This free event will feature three performances throughout the day in the Canyon. Terry has had the opportunity of performing the hoop dance for three U.S. presidents, church leaders, and the queen of Denmark.

Native American hoop dancing is performed in many tribes. It has been formally recognized as a cultural heritage, embodied in both films and as a living tradition in formal competition.

Museum admission is not required to attend these events.
