It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play

George Bailey had dreams to see the world and build spectacular things. Life steered him to managing the family Building and Loan and raising a family with his wife in the town he had always planned to leave. When a mistake turns into a disaster on Christmas Eve, George believes he has given up his dreams only to fail the people who depend on him. It’s a Wonderful Life explores how a single person’s choices can have far-reaching and profound effects on their family, friends, and community.

We invite you to meet the cast of Timpanogos Valley Theater’s 2022 performance of It’s a Wonderful Life: a Live Radio Play. Each cast member will be playing multiple roles, just like in the heyday of life radio theater. But this is no dry radio show — this is a full production of the holiday favorite staged as if it were being performed for the radio — a full set, singing, dancing, jingles for local businesses, live accompaniment and sound effects, and you, our “live studio audience” create an unforgettable experience.
