Birdhouse Competition & Exhibition

The Ogden Nature Center presents its 26th Annual Birdhouse Competition and Exhibit. Entries are due March 18-23, 2019.

The competition encourages creative, functional, environmentally friendly & durable backyard habitats for birds.  The Nature Center’s Birdhouse Trail is lined with whimsical, classy, and creative birdhouses. All ages may enter up to two birdhouses, and there is no entry fee. Cash prizes will be awarded and several of the birdhouses will be chosen to be displayed along birdhouse trail through the summer months. Entries received through March 23, 2019. Please bring your birdhouse to the Visitor Center front desk.

Reception and Awards Presentation:
April 10, 5:30 p.m. at the Ogden Nature Center Visitor Center

Exhibition on Display:
April 10 through June 29, 2019

Ogden Nature Center hours:

Monday – Friday,  9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Saturday,  9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Please park in the dirt lot, and walk down Birdhouse Trail to check in at the Visitor Center.  As you reach the end of Birdhouse Trail, the Visitor Center is located just over the bridge, to the North.
