Joe McQueen Quartet: Jazz and Blues

97 year old jazz and civil rights pioneer, Joe McQueen brings his quartet to the Viridian Center for an evening of jazz and blues. Joe on sax, Ryan Conger on Hammon B3 organ, Brad Wright on guitar and Don Keipp on drums.

97 year old sax player Joe McQueen is still performing and bringing audiences to their feet. Quite an inspiration to see someone his age still doing what they love, and still doing it so well. Joe has performed with Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Nat King Cole, and other icons of the swing era. He worked with Bob Hope and knew Will Rodgers. Lots of stories and great jazz and blues music. More info and photos below.
