KF Dance Presents Girl Child

Girl Child is a dance/theatre production created by Karin Fenn in collaboration with Emily Haygeman, Ai Fujii Nelson, Corinne Penka, & Eileen Rojas with original music by Wachira Waigwa Stone.

The diverse cast unravels stereotypes of femininity to create more nuanced and authentic reflections of womanhood. KF Dance is fiscally sponsored by loveDANCEmore. This piece has also been generously supported by the Salt Lake City Arts Council, The Utah Division of Arts and Museums, The National Endowment for the Arts, and  the Salt Lake Arts Academy. Tickets are live at Limited Seating so purchase your tickets in advance to ensure a seat. Tickets are $15.00 at the door or online. Seating is open in a small black box theatre at Salt Lake Arts Academy. Located in downtown Salt Lake City at 844 S 200 E the charter school features an intimate performance space. No babes in arms please. Younger children may be uncomfortable with some of the material. Wheel Chair Access. Parking on the street and in the parking lot. Please do not park in the H and R Block lot as you will be towed. Performance is at 7:00 house will open at 6:40 with open seating.
