Kheng Lim and Laura Sharp Wilson

Modern West is pleased to introduce new works by Laura Sharp Wilson + Kheng Lim, Artists in Residence at Modern West from February 1 through April 30, 2021. The duo exhibition will be on view Upstairs from April 15 through May 27, 2022. An opening to celebrate the body of works created during the residency will be held April 15 from 6-8pm. All are invited to attend.

While in residency at Modern West, Wilson focused on painting plant forms and tea cups in her signature style to explore concepts of environments and generational inheritance, creating 10+ new works. Kheng focused on developing his artist practice, creating 8 new paintings exploring concepts of chaos and order through color work and some new inks and mediums.
