Kids Art Class | Age 9-12

In this ten-week class, we will be learning about other artists and their art. We will be creating art based on a piece of work created by these artists. We will create artwork with various subject matter such as portraits, landscapes, abstract pieces, flowers, buildings, animals. and ships. We will use a variety of mediums such as watercolor, acrylic, tempera paint, chalk and oil pastel, collage, etc. We will also experiment with using these mediums by combining several of them and seeing how they interact with one another. Because this class is for older children we will be creating art that is a little more advanced than the younger children’s class to expand their learning further.
