Labeled Fest - Ending Stigma in Mental Health

Labeled Fest is a series of ideas and advocacy events focusing on ending the stigma in mental health, disability, developmental, recovery and other marginalized issues through films, ideas and interactions.

Labeled fest 2022 is May 5th, 6th & 7th
At Utah Museum of Fine Arts
Featuring film, ideas and tips ending stigma around mental health, disability, developmental, recovery & youth issues.
Includes youth and all ages programs. Plus volunteer opportunity to create 1000 homeless care kits!

These one of a kind events encompass creative expression, multi-media, story-telling, live performance and technology to create a vibrant community with proud labels. Labeled Fest is a free interactive community event that aims to increase awareness and decrease stigma through education and advocacy.
Thursday May 5th - 6pm - 10pm
Join us for opening night of Labeled Fest 2022. We are incredibly excited to bring you the Utah premiere from SXSW of Poly Styrene: I Am a Cliché. Including a performance and chance to learn about SLC Rock Camp. Followed by a choreographed interpretation of love with Safe Distance. We will finish the evening with the inspirational documentary premiere of 828 with presentation and Q&A with Cary Judd.

Friday May 6th - 6pm - 10pm
Into day 2. Today’s program includes Utah focused creative advocacy. Kicking off with SARA'S Journey. Followed by the premiere of Where Did It All Go Right? Showcasing the Utah action plans to impact homeless issues. The evening will culminate in Never Mind The Stigma where local performers will take the stage to stand up for mental health, disability, developmental and recovery advocacy in their lives.

Saturday May 7th - 10am - 3pm
And the final day will come so quickly! Today is dedicated to experiential learning. Workshops, performances and panels starting with the important documentary The Art of Consent paired with Create Perspective Workshop. Then a treat for the senses with Make Sense Workshop. You can leave your passports at home for this trip to ancient Greece and this interactive performance of Greek Tragedies - Then and Now. Last but not least enjoy Manic Pixie Nightmare video performance and panel discussion.
