Murray City Cultural Arts holds Storytelling Residencies each school year for students and adults who attend a school or live within the Murray City boundaries.
There are typically four types of Storytelling Residencies:
1. After school residencies held at an elementary school
2. In-class residency at a specific school and grade
3. Residency at the Senior Recreation Center (open to general, ages 18+)

At this time, we have a weekend residency available: LIBRARY RESIDENCY
Library Residency will be held on the following dates: January 21 & 28; February 4, 11, 25 with a final performance on March 4, 2023.
Time: 1:00 – 3:00 PM
Location: Murray City Library (166 E 5300 S)
Open to students in grades 3-12 (living within the boundaries of Murray City or attend school within the boundaries)
*those who wish to attend residency should try to attend all dates if possible.

Finalists from the residency will be chosen to be invited to perform at the city wide Showcase. Finalists from the showcase are invited to participate in the Annual County event, Story Crossroads, held in Murray Park and other county facilities, May 2023.
