Living Well with Diabetes

Living Well with Diabetes Program is a workshop that meets two and a half hours, once a week, for six weeks. People with diabetes or pre-diabetes attend together. Two trained leaders facilitate the workshop, one or both of whom are non-health professionals with diabetes themselves. Workshops are FREE.

How to plan a healthy meal
About A1C levels
How to deal with emotions
How to breathe better
How to relax
How to deal with pain and fatigue
How to have healthy eating habits
How to communicate with others
How to use medications correctly
How to manage depression
How to take care of your feet
How to work with your health care professionals

This is a fun course with a lot of activities to do in groups.
