Making Pottery Together: Wheel Throwing I

Learn the basics of wheel throwing! Students will learn to throw on the wheel and to decorate and add glazes to finish their pieces. A wheel throwing demo will be given and then students will work beside their family member to each create one wheel thrown piece. Students will then be able to add hand built embellishments and paint so that their piece is ready to fire in the kilns. Due to drying and firing times, pottery will be ready to pick up 10 days after the class.
