McCarthey Family Foundation Lecture Series: In Praise of Independent Journalism

Tom Brokaw, award-winning TV journalist and author, will discuss the U.S. presidential campaign Saturday, October 29, 2016, 7:00 PM at Rowland Hall, Guardsman Way, Salt Lake City. The lecture is open to the public at no charge. Doors open at 6:00 PM.

Tom Brokaw, known and beloved for his landmark work in American journalism and for the New York Times bestsellers The Greatest Generation and A Lucky Life Interrupted, will be this year’s lecturer at The McCarthey Family Foundation Annual Lecture Series: In Praise of Independent Journalism. Mr. Brokaw served as anchor of NBC Nightly News from 1982 to 2004, and is currently a Special Correspondent for NBC News. Brokaw has won every major award in his craft, including the Edward R. Murrow
