Nature, Poetry & the Artists Book

(Creative Aging Workshop focused on adults aged 55 +, funded by Utah Division of Arts & Museums)
This 6 week workshop will be held weekly on Wednesdays at Stokes Nature Center from 2:00-3:30pm, March 29th – May 3rd.
Cost: $15; limited to 10 participants
Led by artist Dennise Gackstetter, participants will acquire skills to connect more meaningfully with nature. These skills include contour line drawing, basic watercolor pencil techniques, writing haiku, and general bookbinding, culminating in a handmade accordion nature journal.
