NOVA Chamber Music Series: Robert Schumann at the Avant GawRage

The NOVA Chamber Music Series is dedicated to presenting thoughtful and innovative chamber music programs performed by the finest resident musicians of Utah.

NOVA welcomes several new musicians to Utah: distinguished pianist Frank Weinstock, Professor Emeritus of Piano at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, and Elizabeth Beilman, former Principal Viola at the Sarasota Orchestra and the newest member of the Utah Symphony viola section. Chamber Music by Robert Schumann (including his ebullient Piano Quintet) is paired with the wildly creative imaginings of Utah composer Christian Asplund and a special session of Avant GawRage.
