NUTCRACKER BALLET

Christmas Eve at the Silverhaus home is full of excitement! Mr. & Mrs. Silverhaus are hosting their annual Christmas party and their children, Clara & Fritz, are anxiously awaiting the arrival of their guests. As family and friends fill the room, the evening is alive with dancing and enjoyment. Clara’s Uncle, Herr Drosselmeyer, arrives from his many long years of traveling and delights the guests with magic. He saves his best gift for Clara, a wooden Nutcracker doll. As the evening comes to an end, Clara falls asleep with her Nutcracker safe in her arms.

With the arrival of midnight, little mice get into mischief and the soldier ornaments from the Christmas tree come to life. A battle for the Nutcracker ensues. The baby mice have stolen Clara’s precious gift! But Drosselmeyer has a few more tricks up his sleeve. As the Christmas Tree grows in grandeur, so does the Battle for the Nutcracker. Clara defeats the Mouse King in a savvy way. Join us as she journey’s with her Nutcracker into the Christmas Tree and then on to the Land of the Sweets.
