Old Capitol Storytelling Festival

Professional storytellers teaching and telling stories about Railroad history featuring – Nino Reyos, Michael Gross, Rena Pikyavit, Emily Pikyavit, Sam Payne, and Clive Romney.

The 3rd Annual Old Capitol Storytelling Festival will be celebrating our rich history through sharing stories that grew and developed around Utah railroad systems. We will explore our history through all mediums including spoken word, dance, and songs.

We will feature Echo of Spikes & Hammers, One Voice Children Choir, as well as educational outreach performances, along with local and regional artists and entertainers.

NINO REYOS

UDAM Teaching Artist; Musician | Nino is a Northern Traditional Dancer, carrying on the Tradition of the warrior, wearing the eagle bustles of past days. Nino is also a cultural presenter, educating and entertaining audiences of all ages. Nino was one of five flute players selected to be part of the 2002 Winter Olympic Games Opening Ceremonies held in Salt Lake City, Utah.
