Ornaments: a Needle Felting Workshop

A take home needle felting kit is included. The kit is loaded with a large variety of colorful wool, felting needles and holder, foam block, leather finger protectors and more. You’ll be set to create lots of cute gifts for family and friends.

Instructor, Maddie will guide you through this two-hour workshop, teaching you basic needle felting techniques and giving encouraging tips. Whether you choose to create a classic snowman, a holiday gnome or a shining star, the ornament options are endless. No experience necessary.

This class is intended for 12 years of age and older.

If you’re asking… “What exactly is Needle Felting, again?” Needle felting is a method of sculpting loose wool fibers into a 2D image or 3D object by repeatedly poking a notched needle in an up and down motion. This process agitates the fibers and they start to bond together creating a stiff textile image and/or object.
