Outlaw Days

Outlaw Days is a weekend long event with fun for the whole family! 

OUR COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS: ​When you arrive at each portion of our event there will be a check in point. There you will have your temperature checked, leave your contact information and sanitize your hands. Once you have been cleared you will receive a Wrist band. Where social distancing is not possible, you will be asked to wear a mask. If you see someone without a wrist band please direct them to the check in point. Let’s have a fun and safe event!

There is a Cowboy-Action shooting competition: Cowboy Action Shooting is a multi-faceted shooting sport in which contestants compete with firearms typical of those used in the taming of the Old West: single action revolvers, pistol caliber lever action rifles, and old time shotguns. The shooting competition is staged in a unique, characterized, “Old West” style. It is a timed sport in which shooters compete for prestige on a course of different shooting stages.

Each scenario, (stage) as they are called, features an array of situations, many based on famous incidents or movie scenes, in which the shooters must test their mettle against steel targets.

A typical scenario would include a short “story”, a procedure as to target sequence and shooter positions. The average shooting stage involves 2 pistols (10 rounds) 1 rifle (10 rounds) and a shot gun (4-6 rounds).

There is a horseshoe tournament! Right out on the range, and while the tournament is competitive, anyone who takes it too seriously will surely be disappointed.

There is live Country Music!

Awards Dinner! Enjoy some delicious Western foods and cheer on the winners of the shooting competitions and costume contest! (There are various Western dress categories, the best dressed in those categories gets a prize!)
