Payson "Here Comes The Sun" Rock Music Festival

The “Here Comes The Sun” music festival will be put on by the Utah Live Concerts Foundation. ULCF’s formal mission is to create better opportunities or affordable family entertainment using the deep reservoir of local talent performing music festivals and events. “Fans are super ready to get outside for summer fun and entertainment,” states Mayor Bill Wright of Payson City. “With our city’s historic ties to the movie Footloose, perhaps it’s fitting that we’ve asked the city fathers if we can host a party and everyone’s onboard. After the night of COVID, I think we’re all ready for a little sun.”

ULCF also seeks to create youth components in events geared to encourage younger musicians. There will also be continued focus on the senior community that has enjoyed such events over the years. Partner charities are also an important key for 2021 and beyond. Orem sponsors and volunteers for the festival are currently being sought.
