Praying Together for Peace

At 7:00 PM MT, on Friday, November 3, 2023, at the Salt Lake Center for Spiritual Living, 4516 S 700 E. Ste 350, Rabbi Alan Scott Bachman, Rebbetzin Andalin, and musical group Desert Wind, will be joined by Brian Farr of the Christian Community (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints), Zeynep Kariparduc of the Muslim Community (Emerald Hills Institute) and Indra Neelameggham of the Hindu Community (Sri Ganesha Hindu Temple), all of whom serve on the board of the Salt Lake Interfaith Roundtable. Special music will be performed by the indigenous musical group Tee-opa-shaw Band.

House of Prayer for All Peoples, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit corporation, was organized last spring to engage in prayer and spiritual practices led by Jewish bridge-builders with a focus on prayers, services, multi-faith services and gatherings, music, songs, and chants, along with affirmations and various forms of offerings from other faith and belief systems. Services are always free to the public.

Now, more than ever, it is important for our diverse faiths to come together and share blessings and prayers for peace on this planet. This will be part of a Friday night Shabbat service.
