Remembering WWI Veterans Open House

This year will mark the anniversary of the end of World War I. As time passes, the stories of WWI Veterans are being lost and its time to remember and honor them as we celebrate the end of “The war to end all wars.”

On November 8, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. the Emery County Archives, in conjunction with the Emery County American Legion, the Emery County Historical Society and the Emery County Historic Preservation Commission, will be hosting an open house to celebrate the end of WWI and to remember and honor WWI Veterans. Displayed will be uniforms of soldiers, personal effects and photos of these courageous men and women.

DAVID HABBEN

Graphic Designer; UDAM Teaching Artist | David received his BFA in Illustration from Brigham Young University in 2006. In 2008, he became one of the first illustrators to become a Children’s Book Design Fellow at Chronicle Books in San Francisco. For the next eight years, David continued to work as an illustrator and designer, both in-house and freelance. Then, In 2017, he earned his MFA in Studio Art, with a Graphic Design emphasis, from The University of Utah.
