This movie which highlights scenes from Promontory Point and other scenic places in Utah, will be released on May 10th at all Megaplex Theatres in Utah. The movie is an action adventure film which is rated PG.

Utah, May 10th, 1869. It’s a day of celebration as the legendary Golden Spike is hammered into the ground, marking the completion of the first transcontinental railroad in the USA. However, for many abused and underpaid Chinese laborers, it’s a day of sadness as they are pushed away from the celebrations, many without receiving the wages they are owed. Tickets will go on sale at all Megaplex Theatres starting May 5th.  Opening day is May 10th.  The movie can viewed at the following theaters:  Thanksgiving Point, Geneva, The District, Jordan Commons and Legacy.

  1. This an all-round GOOD movie. It’s Funny! Brian has captured some awesome scenery of our own ‘Utah’. The sound, makeup, lighting is very impressive!! It’s a must-see! BRING YOUR KIDS – IT’S PG!!

Choreographer; Dancer; Musician; UDAM Teaching Artist | Katie regularly performs throughout Utah with her cuadro which includes: Jake Abbott (guitar and cante), Sandy Meek (guitar), and Julie Sheen (cajon and palmas). While growing up in Utah she studied jazz, ballet, tap and hip-hop. After moving to Baltimore, Maryland for graduate school she fell in love with Flamenco after taking her first Sevillanas class. She studied with Solange Gomes for several years in Salt Lake City and most recently she lived in Sevilla, Spain where she studied with many flamenco maestros, including Luisa Palacio, Angel Atienza, Isabel Bayon and Javier Baron.
