 Jedediah Rogers is an environmental and public historian with interests in the intersection of land, culture, and religion in the American West. His intellectual pursuits are rooted in his childhood experiences in the varied rural landscapes of the West.

Some of his fondest memories involve backcountry drives on rough, desert roads in Utah’s red-rock country that he could not as a child even begin to place on a map. His current book project–explores the intermix of history, culture, and nature
