Neil Hilborn
Neil Hilborn is a College National Poetry Slam champion and a 2011 graduate with honors from Macalester College. In 2013 his poem “OCD” went viral, garnering over ten million views to date, making it one of the most-watched slam poems ever. He has performed in 38 states and 4 countries, and he is the author of Our Numbered Days, out now on Button Poetry Press. Originally from Houston, Texas, he now lives in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
Kevin Kantor
Kevin Kantor is a spoken word poet, actor, teaching artist, & queer agent for social change. He is the founder & former artistic director of Greeley, Colorado’s SOAPbox Productions, a theatre company & poetry venue dedicated to furthering conversations that are politically engaged & culturally conscious through live performance art. Kevin was the coach & competing member of the University Of Northern Colorado’s 2014 and 2015 College Unions Poetry Slam Invitational Teams, both of which placed in Semi-Finals. At CUPSI 2015, he was awarded “Best of The Rest” and “Best Persona Poem.” Kevin was also a member of the 2012 Denver Minor Disturbance Poetry Slam Team, which took 1st in the world at Brave New Voices in Oakland, California. He has opened for internationally recognized poets such as Andrea Gibson, Buddy Wakefield, Carlos Andres Gomez, & Ken Arkind.
