Salt Lake Culinary Center Cooking Class

Be held captive by love.

In Ancient Egypt, a captive Ethiopian princess, Aïda, is torn between her love for the Egyptian commander Radamès and her loyalty to her own father and country. The lovers must fend off the schemes of a fiercely jealous Egyptian princess and decide whether true love trumps honor and duty.

Utah Opera is excited to introduce people to Middle Eastern cuisine in conjunction with their upcoming production of Aida. Salt Lake Culinary Center will be offering a Cooking Class  called the Middle Eastern Kitchen.

-Baba Ghanouj with Pita Chips (Sample Recipe)

-Stuffed Grape Leaves
-Chicken with Caramelized Sumac Onions, Preserved Lemon, and Israeli Couscous
-Baklava Fingers with Pistachio (Sample Recipe)
