SB Dance Curbside Theater

Curbside Theater is an outdoor, mobile dance and song performance. Introduced in the Summer of 2020, it was one of the only live dance performances in the nation during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. When theaters closed last year, SB Dance shifted gears to create a mobile, outdoor performance called Curbside Theater. It allowed for safe social distance and ventilation, kept the performers separated, and required no power or infrastructure. Its success exceeded expectations. The program is an innovation in reaching new audiences and helping them understand dance as an art form. This is a free event for the public.
