Scandinavian Folk Concert, Dance Workshops, Party
Scandi Fall Fest is a weekend celebration of Scandinavian folk music & dance, with concert, lessons, and dance party featuring outstanding guest musicians and instructors from Colorado and the Seattle area.
Get in touch with your inner Scandinavian! This fall’s Scandi Fest is inspired by music and dance from Sweden and will feature dance instruction by Nancy Ellinghaus and Larry Utter of Boulder, Colorado and the music of the acclaimed Seattle area Nordic folk duo Peter Michaelsen and Joe Finn. There will be something for everyone, including: Friday Concert, Music and Dance Workshop Sessions, and Dance Party. Everyone is welcome! Details on Website.
Thursday Concert is $10 and will be either at E.W. Garbett Center or at First United Methodist Church, 203 S 200 East. Free parking in the church lot with entrance south of the church on 200 E, or in the lot across 200 E; metered parking on the street.
All other events at E.W. Garbett Center, 700 N 200 W. Saturday Dance Party is free admission. Music and Dance Workshop Sessions Friday afternoon, Saturday and Sunday are $25/session, $30 at door.
