Silver Band/Ring Class

Calling all jewelry lovers! Our most popular class, Silver Band/Ring Making, is back and better than ever! This will be the last silver band/ring class we teach in 2023.

In this class, you’ll learn how to make your own unique silver ring from scratch. You’ll start by finding your ring size. We will cut a piece of silver that will become your ring. Then, you’ll use a variety of tools to shape and decorate your ring. Finally, you’ll polish your ring to a beautiful shine.

No experience is necessary, so everyone is welcome. Our experienced instructor will guide you every step of the way.

Here’s what to expect:

Learn the basics of silver jewelry making, including shaping, and polishing.
Get creative and design your own unique ring. One will be able to stamp a word or date if desired.
Have fun and make lasting memories with friends.

By the end of the class, you’ll have a beautiful and stylish silver ring that you can cherish for years to come.

Space is limited, so sign up ASAP. Classes are taught at The Local Artisan Collective, located at 2371 Kiesel Ave in down town Ogden, just a little south of the Megaplex.

This class will be taught by Rene Venegas, a 16th generation silversmith. His family was one of the first to arrive from Spain to the Americas. His ancestor, Felipe Venegas, was the silversmith for the early cathedrals in the Dominican Republic and stamped the first European coins in the New World.
