The program will feature audience favorites, including Copland’s Appalachian Spring, Barber’s Adagio for Strings and music by Joplin as well as music by Still, Seidenberg, and a world premiere piece by Salt Lake City resident, Edward Reichel

Sinfonia Salt Lake, the city’s newest professional chamber orchestra will celebrate one year of presenting concerts to the public on Monday, January 16, 2017 with a diversity-themed program honoring the spirit of the MLK Day holiday.

The program features important American voices on music and poetry. Poetry readers include Raymond Tymas-Jones, Dean of the College of Fine Arts at the University of Utah; Elizabeth McVicker, pastor at First United Methodist Church; and Sarah Reichel, a young
