Star of Wonder: A New Christmas Musical

British soldier Jack, returns home from World War I in time for Christmas. Experience how the magic of carols can heal a wounded heart.

The first Christmas after the end of World War I finds Jack, a British soldier, home with his family in time for their annual Christmas music festival. Having witnessed the carnage of war, Jack does not want to participate in his family's tradition. Through his siblings' gentle prodding and the magic of the Christmas carols being presented, will he be able to heal his wounded heart and discover the true meaning of Christmas?

Performance length: 90 minutes, with no intermission

All tickets are $10.00, through a generous Shop in Utah grant. Regular ticket price is $20.00. Tickets on sale now!

No children under the age of five allowed in the theatre.

PARKING INFO

  • Complimentary parking is available on-site at the West Valley Performing Arts Center. Parking is first-come first-served.
  • Due to limited parking and high demand, we recommend you use public transit or carpool. The WVPAC is located 0.4 miles (an 8 minute walk) from the UTA Green Line train stop at Decker Lake Station. If you plan to drive to the WVPAC, give yourself 20-30 min before your ticket time to find a parking spot, purchase concessions, and find your seat. You may choose to arrive even earlier when the Maverick Center has events as traffic will increase.

Reserved seating is socially distanced, allowing for 25% seating capacity in the theatre. No concessions will be served. Masks are required to be worn by all patrons attending the performance.
