Stories of Pride: A LGBTQ+ Celebration of Community

Please join us for a one-night-only LGBTQ+ celebration of storytelling and community! The 90 minute show will feature Eli McCann, Julia Oderda, Jonathan T. Bailey, Jamie White, Alexis Powell, J. Seth Anderson, and Stacie Shannon Denetsosie.

This show exists to celebrate queer joy, triumph, love, liberation, defiance, connection—and to reject the narrative that the LGBTQ+ experience is defined only through trauma. With this in mind, each storyteller has prepared a 5-7 minute story or reading on whatever topic they’d like.

Tickets are $12 through Eventbrite, and code PRIDE gets you $4 off.

We’ll have free snacks of various kinds, including granola bars. As with all Strangerville Live shows, Eli always buys several boxes of granola bars and nobody wants them. He does not learn from the past, so this will definitely happen again.

The show is family friendly-ish (we can’t promise your children won’t hear bible swears or euphemisms). Program runs at 1.5 hours, kids under 14 or so might lose interest.
