Subtractive Charcoal Drawing | Age 12+

We will engage in the process of drawing using the technique of subtractive drawing. We will explore working on gesso primed paper with compressed charcoal as well as regular drawing paper. We will also experiment with using different tools and supplies such as brushes, different erasers, sandpaper, X-Acto knives, turpentine, acetone, and anything else that we would like to explore. Taught by Kara Swensen.

Parking is available at the historic district public lot on 100 W & Center, Logan High School lot 1 or 2, Recreation Center lot 1 or 2, Jo-Ann's Fabrics & Crafts Lot, Public Lot behind Olson & Hoggan. Limited street parking (please observe posted restrictions). The lot directly behind the theater is closed to the public between 6am-6pm.
