The Art of Checking in… With Ourselves and Others

Join Ellyn Zografi, LMFT, and others in a brief conversation about a big topic: Feelings. There is no doubt we are all having MANY feelings these days, often leaving us unsure about what to do with them.  Sometimes we see two choices: push away or deny the feeling or let it consume us.  Either way, this causes stress.  It can be challenging to know what actions to take or not take with them, what to say or not say about them, and how to express or not express them.  In this workshop, participants will learn one very simple but effective approach to facing their feelings (and the feelings of others) that brings compassion rather than a judgment about what caused the feeling, curiosity rather than criticism about when the feeling seems to occur, and empowerment rather than shame about having the actual feeling in the first place. Have paper and pen available for yourself
