The Horse: Beaded Riding Whip Artist Workshop

Join Shoshone Bead Worker Rios Pacheco and make a traditional beaded riding whip, known as a quirt. A traditional quirt consists of a short, stout stock and braided leather handle. The old style horse quirt is still carried by some today. Participants will learn about the significance of the design of the quirt and how they were used in the past.
