Recently named one of the twenty-five most important American plays of the last twenty-five years by the New York Times, it explores the motivations for the brutal beating and death of Matthew Shepard, a gay man who lived in Laramie. The show, presented by UVU in a uniquely intimate way, explores the subsequent reactions to the incident in the community where it happened.
