The Lifespan of a Fact

A demanding editor has given an eager young fact checker a big assignment: apply his skill to a groundbreaking piece by an unorthodox author on a sensitive subject. The resulting conflict between fact-checker and author casts a comic light on the intersection between truth and art. UDAM Teaching Artist; Visual Artist | Trish Clay has worked for forty years teaching and counseling at all levels from elementary to college, including Job Corps and prison programs. She has been awarded many awards for her teaching, including two Fulbright scholarships to Japan and the Beverly Sorenson Award for Secondary Art Teacher of the Year. She has taught in China and Vietnam and traveled throughout the world, gathering ideas for her teaching. She loves to teach and interact with students of all ages, and continues to work with Girl Scouts, private individuals and the prison half way house for women.
