The Weavers' Stories
This will be a great opportunity to:
- Listen to fascinating stories, as Native American Weavers tell about their rugs
- Gain knowledge of the spiritual significance of corn in many Native American cultures and how it is used in ceremonies
- Learn about the current conditions facing Traditional Navajo Elders
On-site demonstrations include:
Traditional Navajo Dancers perform from 5:30-6PM – right before the event
Weaving Demonstrations: Weaving Ancient Designs & Spider Woman’s influence
Free admission for the event from 6-8PM
