The Wild explores the ongoing legal fight in Bristol Bay, Alaska between a multi-generational fishing community and the Pebble Mining Company over a massive open-pit copper and gold mine that if approved by the current administration would endanger the largest sock-eyed Salmon run in the world, a keystone species that feeds 137 creatures – including us – in a wild place that is the last of its kind on Earth.
