Third Saturday for Families: Copper Sculptures
Please note, this event has expired.
Come to the UMFA to explore a new exhibition that examines the Bingham Canyon Mine, the largest man-made excavation on Earth, through the eyes of the many artists who have depicted it through the years. During this free Third Saturday event, families are invited to make art out of copper, hammering and shaping it into flat sculptures called bas reliefs.
Funded in part by the Salt Lake County Zoo, Arts and Parks Program (ZAP).
