Wondering what to do with all those toilet paper cores? Let’s have a Toilet Paper Core finger puppet contest!
ALL AGES!!!

There are three prize categories:
1. Best puppet
2. Best puppet ensemble
3. Best puppet show (3-5 mins. tops)

The winner will be selected by audience votes. There will be two groups: 1. Under 5 years old 2. Over 5 years old.

Materials (keep to these as not everyone has fancy craft supplies):
Toilet paper core
Scissors
Pen/pencil
Colored pencils or crayons
One other simple item found around the house
Staples, tape or glue

DIRECTIONS
1. Cut the toilet core open.
2. Draw and color any kind of character (mine is a unicorn).
3. Staple or tape back together to fit finger.

Optional: Puppet stage can be the back of a chair, a piece of cardboard, fabric or a blanket taped to a doorway.
