True Stories and Folklore

Join us for a night of stories and folklore performed by professional storyteller, Janine E Nishiguchi. She is a diverse teller engaging audiences of all ages and has performed in many venues across the state. She loves the connections between generations stories can bring.  She is a past president of the Utah Storytelling Guild, on the Weber State Storytelling Festival Committee, and currently a children’s librarian in Davis County. The night will start with games and treats as an open house in Rising Star Outreach’s office at 6:30 pm. This is a time for you to learn more about our organization and the work we do to uplift individuals living with the effects of leprosy. At 7 pm, we will make our way down to the pond next to our office and settle in for an exciting night!  

Please bring a picnic blanket or camping chair for a more comfortable seat. This event was planned with people of all ages in mind, so invite your friends and family to join us!
