Twilight Drive-in at the Utah Olympic Park: Forever Is Now

Park City Film is partnering with Utah Olympic Park and Dragonfli Media to present the Twilight Drive-In at the Utah Olympic Park, a drive-in movie series to bring the community together for fun, socially-distant evenings celebrating film. Join us for a fun night out watching films under the stars!

The name “Forever Is Now” comes from the writings of poet Lyman Hafen. If the history of the earth were to be written into a 1000-page book, our time here would barely take up a single letter. And yet, the significance of what we do now will be felt long into forever.

This film follows ten people who are Zion National Park’s keepers and caretakers. At a time of increasing tension between recreation and environmental impact, the film follows a path to the future through character stories that are personal, complex, and compelling. Shot in all four seasons across fourteen successive months, the film captures Zion like it’s never been seen before—instilling a sense of awe and ownership for public lands today, tomorrow, and forever.

The feature film will be preceded by a selection of short films produced by Local Studio that celebrate the unique communities and cultures of Utah – “Cowboy Poet,” “The Salt of Sound” and “Anthem Piece.” Director Sean Slobodan and producer Shandi Kano will be on site to introduce the films and talk about the impact of their work.
